Is Step Brothers Good?

I am not going to see the movie Step Brothers because it didn't look good by the trailer they put out. I know it's starring the famous actor Will Ferrel but it just doesn't look that good. If you saw the movie then please leave a comment and tell me what you thought.

Why Does IMAX Cost More?

Why does every movie have to cost more just to see the movie on a bigger screen and with a little better quality and sound. I can understand if it's a 3D movie but some of them are not but yet people still are willing to spend more money just to see the better quality. You can get a normal adult ticket price for about five to nine dollars at a theater. If you want to see IMAX then you pay about twelve to fifteen dollars a ticket. Is it really worth the money? Sure the IMAX theater looks cooler and has better effects but with the gas prices going up and all the new movies coming out, should we skip the IMAX once in awhile? If an animated movie you want to see is in IMAX then see it in IMAX. If it's a normal movie then it might not be worth it. Harry Potter is worth it because of the effects but other movies are not. So take a break from the IMAX and go help out a local theater and enjoy a good movie.

Here's some info about IMAX from oscarthegrouch at Yahoo Awnsers.

Both the screen and the actual film reel is larger than your normal theater.

A film produced specifically in IMAX will use film stock that is twice as big as 35mm, and a frame size four times as big. This captures far more detail than traditional photography.

IMAX's primary application today is presenting 35mm productions on their large screens. They use a special Digital process to blow the 35mm negative up to their IMAX stock sizes without blowing up the flaws and grain so you get a larger, more impressive experience.

They also utilize a far more powerful sound system with some 10,000 watts driving it. You get a much more powerful, rich and detailed sound experience.

For large event pictures, an IMAX showing can really add to the experience. I highly recommend seeing something in it if you have the means.

There you have it, IMAX is better then normal theater but only spend the money if you think the movie is going to be good. Don't waste it on a bad movie just to see it in high quality.

The Mummy 3 Is Something To See

I went to see The Mummy 3 and it was amazing. Brendan Fraser and Jet Li were the main stars. The main thing I liked about the movie was that Jet Li was the bad guy this time. I mean come on, when is Jet Li ever the bad guy? I have seen many movies by him and never have I seen him on the bad side so it was a good thing to see him actually on the other side for once. Jet Li and Brendan Fraser's acting skills were amazing in the movie. The action in the film is great for all ages. This movie should be in IMAX it's so good. I give the movie four stars. It's not because I like any movie with Jet Li. It's a four out of four because it was something different for a change instead of the same old stuff and that's why I liked it. Here's the synopsis from IMDb.com and it does contain spoilers.

The blockbuster global "Mummy" franchise takes a spellbinding turn as the action shifts to Asia for the next chapter in the adventure series, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor." Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China high into the frigid Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.

Doomed by a double-crossing sorceress (Michelle Yeoh) to spend eternity in suspended animation, China's ruthless Dragon Emperor and his 10,000 warriors have lain forgotten for eons, entombed in clay as a vast, silent terra cotta army. But when dashing adventurer Alex O'Connell is tricked into awakening the ruler from eternal slumber, the reckless young archaeologist must seek the help of the only people who know more than he does about taking down the undead: his parents.

As the monarch roars back to life, our heroes find his quest for world domination has only intensified over the millennia. Striding the Far East with unimaginable supernatural powers, the Emperor Mummy will rouse his legion as an unstoppable, otherworldly force...unless the O'Connells can stop him first.

So what are you waiting for? Go see the movie!

Kid Rock sings "All Summer Long" While Creed Fans Wait "All Summer Long".

You might of heard the new song by Kid Rock called "All Summer Long". I am not going to lie to you, I like the song. The reason I like it is because it's basically got four songs all in one song. The lyrics are good and it's a great summer song. But that doesn't change the fact of what he ended up doing to Creed. Creed was a rock band with a singer named Scott Stapp. The other members of the band were Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall. This band was one of my favorite bands all of time when they were playing. I still love this band today as I write this blog on blogger. Creed had only three albums released when they were a band. They released four albums all together because after they disbanded their Greatest Hits album came out. The albums they released as a band were My Own Prison, Human Clay, and Weathered. So why did this band break up and was it a stupid reason or for a good reason. Most people think the band broke up because Scott Stapp wanted to go solo and make a solo album. The solo album is called The Great Divide and some people think it's a Christian album but I can't really tell because of the track titles on the album. Other people think Creed broke up because the other band members didn't like how Scott Stapp was acting and they decided to quit the band. I think this idea is probably why they broke up. The last reason people think that Creed broke up is because the band found out that Scott Stapp wasn't really in the zone anymore with his music and all he could think about was partying all night long and getting drunk, getting laid by hookers, hanging out with buds where ever he went, and spending all his money on junk he didn't need. Well I think that is the perfect reason for the band Creed to break up. I just want to know why they would break up when they had so many fans and they were on the time of the world. It just seems uncommon for bands just to break up when they are famous and popular. I have the perfect explanation of why Creed broke up. Yes, it had to do with Scott Stapp not taking the job seriously and wasting all his money on beer and hookers. I don't think that it was him that just decided to do that. Scott Stapp was great friends with Kid Rock and he would party with Kid Rock all night long. So, I think that Kid Rock is the reason Creed broke up and I am sticking to my story. Kid Rock is a good singer but he can't sing live. Creed could sing live and they were also a great band. Why would someone want to ruin something that was going good like that. So, enjoy your good times Kid Rock because pretty soon you'll end up like Creed. Yes, you won't be a band but the only thing different is that people won't want you back. So if your a Creed fan and you want Creed back let me tell you this. Don't go out and by Kid Rock's new album Rock N' Roll Jesus. How about you go buy one of the Creed albums you don't own. I already told you that Scott Stapp went solo but where did the rest of the band members go? The rest of the band members continued to rock and formed a band called Alter Bridge. The singer for the band Alter Bridge was Myles Kennedy. The band Alter Bridge released two albums. One of the albums was called One Day Remains and the other album was called Blackbird. If you like World Wrestling Entertainment then you probably are familiar with this band. The band Alter Bridge was the band that played when Edge came out. The song was not called Edge's Theme Song. They released the song on the album and Edge chose it months after because he liked it and wanted it to be his theme song. The name of the song Edge used for his theme song was called "Metalingus" and it's a pretty good song. It's a lot heavier then Creed I can tell you that. Sure, Alter Bridge is a pretty good band but I still like Creed better then Alter Bridge. If your not a fan of World Wrestling Entertainment then you might not know the song "Metalingus" so I suggest you go check it out on Rhapsody, Amazon, iTunes, Youtube, Imeem, Project Playlist, or wherever you listen to your music that you like. The song "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge is probably my favorite song by Alter Bridge. Why is it my favorite? It is my favorite because it's the first song I heard by Alter Bridge and I haven't really listen to anything else by the band Alter Bridge. Maybe I heard like two more songs by them but that's it.
Sure the band is good but there not my favorite. So I told you Scott Stapp went solo. His solo album was called The Great Divide and the most known track on the album was "The Great Divide" which was played during World Wrestling Entertainment's Tribute to the Troops special on Christmas Eve. I have heard other songs on his album but so far he's not doing too good as a solo artist. I am sure he wishes he didn't go down the bad road with Kid Rock. If he didn't, he might still have had the band Creed. Well, let's just hope Creed comes back. I know that the other members of the band said they would never make up and be Creed again but you can always wait and see. Since the band Alter Bridge was fed up with being asked over and over to reform Creed the band members that were from Creed parted ways with Wind-Up Records. So basically they will never be a band again? That is probably true but anything can happen in the music business. I guess all of the left hanging or just huge Creed fans will just be left with the albums released and nothing more. The best thing to do now is just to watch all the Creed music videos and listen to their albums that were released and forget about Creed coming back as a band. I mean, it could still happen but it would take a miracle for them to come back. The members that were in Creed just don't like Scott Stapp and the way he works. Only if Scott Stapp could change for the better then maybe Creed would come back. I mean come on Scott Stapp, your not that good as a solo artist. What you think your going to end up as being a solo artist? Your a rock solo artist Scott Stapp. I don't think your going to turn your style of music into Punk/Grudge and become the new Chris Daughtry. I mean come on, you never did American Idol. Scott, you had a good voice from the beginning you didn't need American Idol. Also, is Scott Stapp really a Christian artist because I go to the Christian music store and I didn't see his solo album there. The one thing I liked about Creed was their music videos. They had really good music videos. I would have to say my favorite song by Creed is "Higher" which has nothing to do about drugs for you people who just like to create controversy. I mean come on, the song which feature in Spider Man. Do you really think the creators of Spider Man would allow a song about drugs in their movie? I don't think so. Well, is Creed coming back or not? Only time itself will tell.
